Brandy's First Concert

Yes, at less then 6 weeks old my daughter has had her first open air musical experience. John Scofield played a free show in downtown Peekskill.



What better way to have her experience music live for the first time than with a great blues/jazz guitarist. He was joined by John Abercrombie, also a fine guitarist. While the YouTube clip does them no justice, the guitar sounds were awe inspiring. Sherry, Brandy and I were joined by Danielle and Jacqueline. We all had a nice time on a gorgeous night. Brandy was awake for much of the show, just soaking it all in. It is nice to know that this is something we can do with her, regardless of her young age. Now I don't think loud, enclosed venues will be part of Brandy's musical experiences for some time. But outdoors..... dig it!
